Systems specialist
Open to new roles
Matti Mieskonen
I design, build and run Linux servers and web services, with more than 20 years of experience. I am looking for a new role in Linux administration, server infrastructure or security. In my own time I design and build an end-to-end encrypted storage service with AI.
Skills
Linux servers
Designing, procuring, installing and running server environments. Web, mail and database servers, and virtualisation.
Automation and security
Automating and monitoring maintenance and security, and keeping server environments up to date.
AI-assisted development
Product ideas, requirements, architecture and security model. The AI writes the code; I decide what gets built and test that it works in a real environment.
Web development
PHP, WordPress plugins and maintenance, and web services from simple pages to large systems.
Support and problem solving
Technical support, scoping technical needs in sales, writing documentation and training users.
